AT first i thought to myself.
HEY, where did all the pad threads go?
Then i remembered! Into Hershy's pad thread and cream of course!!!
NO
But. I own this pad, internal wires broke in 6 months. Asking Red Octanes customer service. Who knows, they might send me a new one or fix mine for free Good pad, it works very well, doesn't do phantom steps, gotten many AA's on 10 footers, IZA KEEPA!! _________________

What about the arrows cracking? I've heard problems about that. _________________

Mine make squeaking sounds a lot, but I haven't cracked the arrows on them (yet). _________________

Bought one refurbished from RedOctane's eBay store for $119+$40 shipping ($159 total):
http://stores.ebay.com/Redoctane_W0QQsspagenameZl2QQtZkm
RedOctane didn't pack it very well (just corner foam) and Airborne dinged it up on each side but it works great and looks like new other than that. The panels were all brand new with the covering. Pretty decent price! |

Is the pad like Cobalt Flux's all flat pad, or are there raised parts of the pad similiar to the arcade experience? _________________

Well I have a RO pad and I have only seen pictures of the CF but it looks completely flat and my RO pad isn't that flat. You can feel where the arrows are and they are a little lower than the metal around it.
I really love my RO and its worth it _________________

I just got my RO pad yesterday and it works like a dream, i couldnt be happier. For the most part, it is flat, except for the brackets on the four corners of the center metal piece. And i DO have one complaint.
If you step down between 2 of the buttons that can actually be depressed, there is a thin metal separater which hurts like a Mo fo at times! i think the squeeking is from the arrows rubbing against them or something. But it sucks cuz i cant wear shoes, i just about touch the cieling as it is in socks! |

i dont really want to use water without knowing what it will do to the pad, so should i use it dry or wet, and which side should i use? |

water shouldnt harm anything electrical as long as it is not plugged in..... also if you do use water, give it a good amount of days to evaporate the leftovers. _________________
