I get this when i load it up.

There was an error while initializing your video card.

PLEASE DO NOT FILE THIS ERROR AS A BUG!

Video Driver: ATI 3D Rage Pro (atir3)

Initializing Direct3D...
Your system is reporting that Direct3D hardware acceleration is not available. Please obtain an updated driver from your video card manufacturer.

what is wrong and is there any thing i need to buy or download?

Its not DirectX.

Its you video card.

Either you Video Card doesnot support Direct3D and you need to update your video driver or your going to have to get a new video card.
