has anyone noticed that Cutie Chaser is in 3/4 time(3 beats per measure for you non-musicians)? No one probably has because most don't use the training mode, don't like songs that aren't 200+ bpm, or has >250 steps.E4.gif Oh well I just thought it was kinda odd. Maybe you could post some of the odd or out of the ordinary things you've seen in your experience playing DDR games.

I noticed that there was a 3/4 song in DDR, i just forgot which one, thanks for reminding me. Otherwise no, unless you count this

I walked of the machine after doing a round of DDR, and i pass this old lady (gray hair, wrinkles), and she asks me, "How much is it to play that?" I told her 50 cents for 3 songs, and she says, "Thank you." I never looked back to see if she was going to do it, even though i should have

Heres an oddity: DDR has emasculated me. I just got on and the song from DDRfreak radio that was playing was "oh Nick please not so quick" by E-Rotic. Now if you excuse me, i'm going to play with barbies. frown.gif (My name is Nick if it was'nt clear)

easy...if you ever took any sort of music class or played an instrument, you have to know what beat there is to it. Its difficult to explain...someone would have to show you. I think its equivalent to math...actually...it IS sort of like math...god i hate math...

Another easy way to tell is to just look at the song in practice mode. But like they said being a musican helps a whole lot.

It's in 7/8 at the beginning and then varies between 7/8 and 7/4.

we have a winner. it could either be 7/4, or more likely, just alternating measueres of 4/4 and 3/4. it goes to regular 4/4 at the very end, however.

I've been told of a mix of Electro Tuned (Subs Mix, I think) that has one measure near the beginning of the song that's five beats. Everything else in the song is 4/4.

I think its' Subs Mix, anyway.

Actually, the entire song is 4/4, but I can see where you are coming from. For one measure, the song actually slows down from the given 125 to a slightly slower 116, which makes it feel like there are 5 beats instead of 4. Check the stepchart if you want to see the measure with the tempo change.

And it is "The Subs Mix".

Thanks to Premarital Sex for the correction on the time signatures on Holic. I'm pretty sure that it's 7/4, though I'd have to check about the end being in 4/4...

Thrusting's always fun, even if in reality, you have nothing to thrust. Heh. I only do this in one circumstance: Do It All Night.

*Looks over the thread and shivers at the number of people that hump the machine*

On the look at the step chart thing, one of the reasons that I started this trhead was because Cutie Chasers on-site step chart has it wrong. Which is excusable because I don't think anyone cares about the actually beats per measure. I just found it odd.

On a sidenote I gotta check out Holic(one of my faves) again.

Yeah I noticed the Electro Tuned thing espicially since I made an edit for every song on MAX US and MAX2 US. And on the edit screen it only shows 3 bars for Cutie Chaser (Morning Mix) instead of 4.
