What exactly is a "quick reply" mod?
Is it just like a box on the bottom of a page so people can just reply without having to have a new page load?

Sounds like it....
But that'd encourage postwhoring...and no one wants that.

It would be great for the server load, but then tons of more people would post whore. And what about if someone wants to flood a post with useless crap? It would even be easier. |
wouldnt it stil have to go past the antiflood checkpoint

This has already been suggested, and the same concerns were raised about it making postwhoring easier.
Personally, I don't think it would be a problem, since we do have that 1 post per minute limit. |

There's a post delay time (you can't make more than one post within x minutes)... So if the server going slow is a problem, then you can click on "Reply" and type out your reply and that would be your anti flood limit. With the quick-post feature installed, it would just have people asking for us to lower the time limit (IMO).
