When you go to the arcade do you prefer playing when you are the only player on the machine? Playing with a small group of other players? A large group of other players? And of course, why?

It depends. If I'm just there to have fun, I think a group environment is better. However, if I'm trying to improve my gameplay, I prefer to be alone.

A group of people is more fun. I love the competition!

Ide go with a half way inbetween point, such as a few friends or so. But not a whole group/crowd of them E1.gif

Playing with a group of people is much funner than playing by myself. Better to have people you know mess you up than random 5-year-olds running around.

It doesn't really matter to me. Normally, I'll get one or two of my friends to go to the arcade with me, but if I can't get anyone, I'll go by myself and converse with other players, provided I don't get the impression that they're an arsehole.

It depends. I don't like playing alone, unless I have a crowd all to myself laugh.gif . I do like playing with others for competition though (even though I win every.....time sarc.gif ).

I had just one friend I played versus with all the time, and that was the best. We were both about on the same level too, so the competetion was pretty fierce, but we were still great friends of course.

I like playing with people if they are really close friends. Otherwise, I don't mid it if they are close in skill level, or possibly even better. It irritates me when people I don't know come in and play on, say, Standard, and do it badly...I feel like they waste my time.... No offense toward those people; I just feel like they're intruding into our DDR territory, and honestly wouldn't mind getting to know them...but sometimes people just play and don't interact with you at all, and that annoys me.

I like going with my closest friends too, as I feel comfortable if I fail and they give me the boost and confidence I need to carry on and try again!! I don't like going on my own as its boring!! but I would still go on my own if I had no-one to go with!!

I like being alone, because I can't stand it when people don't realize how I'm breathing heavy :coughasthmacough: and I don't want to talk until the song is over. Plus, no one of my friends is as good as me, but one of them is almost up to heavy.Sucks to be Austin laugh.gif

Curse the Tilt managerwho is no longer there!!!!=) who decided to install ITG. Luckily the new manager who is my friend is getting EXTREME back soon biggrin.gif

Alone. I usually have a very limited amount of time to play at the arcade. (At home, I like having a group or a friend or two)

I usually play by myself, and I enjoy it that way. But for company, I will take at most, 2 people. Anything over that is too much for me. blink.gif
