People in school who think they are all that at ddr

These kinds of people really annoy me. There are tons of em at my school. Ya know the kind of people who think they are the best but don't care to play or look at others videos. An example is today ddr is brought up at my lunch table. People start talking about it so I join in. One person is like "everyone shut up cause I'm all better than you" I say "Do you play in the arcade?" They reply "Yeah" So I then say "Can you beat Paranoia Survivor?" They say "What the hell is that?" I'm like ok "Can you beat Max 300?" They say again "What the hell is that?" I'm say to myself "Are they for real" and I ask them one more thing "Can you beat a 10 footer?" They again say "What are you talking about?" Now I'm completly like WTF you say you can beat a bunch of people and you have no clue what a 10 footer is and me and this other kid who play ddr are like whatever.

Come on who never has heard of Max 300 and says they are really good and play at the arcade.

i know alot of people that are just casual DDR'rs. But they dont talk trash without being able to back it up. they are only light players and they know that im a AA heavy player so the dont act like they all good and stuff (at least not around me). But these kind of people that you are talking about bother me just a little. The people that REALLY bother me are the People that are really good and they know it. and they rub it in everyones face and stuff. i just wanna smack those people, ya know?

Yeah, it's all a state of mind. They can think what they want to think... and that's fine, but when it comes down to playing the game, it shows who really is good at it... and who is just all talk.

If you know you are good.... then forget what other people say

The best thing to do is find some DDR'ers at your school that you know you can beat, and ask them for advice. Then at the arcade with them play 2 beginner songs and do HORRIBLE and then play the hardest song you can pass on Heavy and say your just gonna try it out to see what it looks like....HEHE

Im very good at DDR for my size(285 lbs, but im drropping it) and im one of the few people at my high school who can play and play well. Several of my buddies on the football team know this, and think that they can beat me due to my size. They think this until they see me play. Ive gotten AA's on songs that they cant pass, so I win.

I play heavy and I tell people I suck really badly.

Just ignore them or challenge them at the arcade.

I know one supposed DDR god at our school. ("DDR god", of course, referring to the best known player in the school) I haven't gotten him to the arcade yet, but he doesn't seem to be too great at the game. He was visibly impressed when I said I passed Sakura on Heavy with a B. Of course, we're settling this once and for all when I bring a metal pad or two to school with me on the last day, and it's going to be a public showdown during band class. Wish me luck.

my fried is in highschool (Senior) and a guy was challenging peopleat ddr saying he was the best.my friend never played before. and beat him.

Well, one time I saw him in the arcade and he failed Paranoia Survivor, so I laughed at him and he was like "Lets see you do better". So I got on the machine and showed him up and passed it with an "A". Then he just said "whatever..." and left. They're just mostly talk...mostly...

i might be considered one of these ppl but that doesnt mean a whole lot at my school(i only have proof of me and 1 other kid passing a ten). when ppl ask i tell im good, but i try not to go farther than that. i do occasionally brag slightly, but i know a better player when i see and i respect them (theres quite a few!).

i hate it when people think someone is good at ddr even though they aren't good at all. like this kid who goes to my school that everyone thinks is good just because he can do exotic ethnic on light mode

i mean c'mon now i've been playing for like 6 months and can get a B on it. he has been playing for like a year and a half and everyone is like i bet your not better than (sorry can't say his name) and i'm like ok i'll challenge him and we will see.
