Sanitary?

I just had a thought...don't you think maybe they should make people wash there hands or maybe have rub-in soup in arcades? Because consider this, think about how many people have put their hands on the bar..ew

..sorry it just happened to come to mind..discuss.

That's not the half of it. What about the people who play ITG and have to use their hands

Do people wear gloves or something - I probably would, especailly with some people playing barefoot.

Personally, I've never thought much about sanitation and DDR. I wipe off the bar and the panels with a towel after I'm done but I don't stop to think about how many other hands have grabbed the bar over the course of the day, week, month, whatever. If I am exposing myself to germs by playing DDR, so be it. That's what my immune system is there for anyway.

I have OCD and I dont even think about that crap. Just wash your hands, or if you want to be a big Azure about it, use your feet for the hands, or bring some windex with you.

It's the same with any arcade game. Bring some Germ-X or antibacterial lotion. There are plenty of nasty people who rarely or never wash their hands.

Like someone else said it's the same with any arcade game and most things in public for that matter. I hate to think how many germs are on those video game controllers that are connected to the demo stations in stores like Target and Best Buy. Just wash your hands after you are done playing and always wash your hands when you get home from being out somewhere.

Never actually thought about it but i dont/cant use the bar anyways.
But in either case unless the previous person had a super deadly bacteria that made your hands explode from touching yourself...i think you'll be fine.

Remember: A toilet seat has less bacteria than a cell phone
