You sunk my grammar ship. E2.gif

The only time my knees hurt was after playing Paranoia Survivor Max Oni like 3 times in a row. They felt better in like 10 minutes though. I might have had long term knee pain once after hanging out at the arcade for 6 hours. E15.gif

Discussion about DDR related injuries

Possible thread that might give some insight about your knees and ddr pads

There was another thread already made about this and i'm sorry if those above links don't suit your question.

There could be three reasons:
    1) You may be doing knee drops and tireing your knees out.
    2) You play DDR too often and you my not be getting sufficient recovery time.
    3) A medical condition.

LOL... that struck me as quite funny...

Anyways.

The only time I had knee problems was when I was playing on my soft pad on hardwood floor when I first got DDR. Once I started playing on carpet (then eventually on a foam insert) the pain went away.

I had a problem with my knees like four years ago, whenever I would run my right knee would start hurting like hell turns out I had some disease called oshgood schlader or something like that but if its both your knees chances are that you dont have that disease

It only hurts because your knees arent used to it. Eventually, your knees should get stronger, and they should stop hurting.

Riiiight... flex those knee muscles.

Anyway, there is such a thing as 'bad knees.' After eight years of competitive indoor volleyball, mine are terrible. I doubt DDR would cause it, but it could aggrivate it.

I've been playing for a year and 2 months and still I have problems with my knees...you'd think the random stabbing pain in my joints would compel me to stop playing the game but nooooo. E15.gif My mother tells me I'm gonna need knee replacements by the time I'm 20.

Same with my friend...Weve been playing the same time probably he played longer, but his knees still suck and mine never ever hurt...well except one time but that counts as an injury for doing something dumb E15.gif
