|
|
Exactly the title. I recalled somewhere that DDR Oni had clips of stepcharts from some of the Naoki originals, and found it to be correct. (I myself was actually observant enough to locate patterns from Dynamite Rave, AM-3P, and Hyper Eurobeat).
My question is, does anybody know the full list of songs that DDR Oni stole its steps from? And if anybody can be specific enough to say that like "Measures X-Y of DDR Oni are Measures A-B of Song Z?"
Any help is appreciated.
Edit-in: This problem was immediately solved by the below poster and then further stuided and exemplified by me. The solution is found in my next post, 2 posts down from here. _________________

I can only tell you the order the steps go in:
Brilliant 2U (Orchestra Groove) [measures 17-20]
Dead End [measures 10-17]
Dynamite Rave [measures 11-18]
Afronova (the doggy part at the beginning, really) [measures 17-20]
End of the Century [measures 9-12]
AM-3P (yes!) [measures 9-16]
Celebrate Nite [measures 41-48]
B4U [measures 17-23]
The measures refer to the part from the originating song, not in DDR.
For reference, Dead End, Dynamite Rave, AM-3P, Celebrate Nite, and B4U parts last the longest (8 measures each, except for B4U which is just 7). |

Excellent, thank you much. Based on what you've given me, I've gone and compared all the stepcharts, and here's the breakdown of Dance Dance Revolution's Oni stepchart based on my findings, with M meaning Measure(s):
DDR Oni M 1-4 are empty, as the song is starting up.
DDR Oni M 5-8 = Brilliant 2 U (Orchestra Groove), M 17-20.
DDR Oni M 9 seems to be original steps, as I could find no match.
DDR Oni M 10-16 = Dead End, M 10-17.
DDR Oni M 17-24 = Dynamite Rave, M 11-18.
DDR Oni M 25-28 = Afronova, M 17-20.
DDR Oni M 29-32 = End Of The Century, M 9-12.
DDR Oni M 33-40 = AM-3P, M 9-16.
DDR Oni M 41-48 = Celebrate Nite, also M 41-48.
DDR Oni M 49-55 = B4U, M 17-23.
DDR Oni M 56 seems to be original steps, as I could find no match.
DDR Oni M 57 = Dance Dance Revolution (Heavy), M 57. _________________

What tools are you using to find matches?

I'm assuming measures 9 and 56 are just used to add flow and continuity to the song. Also, I'd use the "search" button to find threads similar to this because I've seen this thread before. |
